The first ten pages of this book had my mouth on the floor shocked. I was thinking what did I just read. I love that about Amo's books. You never know just how much mind f*ckery there will be. I knew this book was going to be a huge rollercoaster. I got some definite Black Widow vibes from it given Lilith's history. I adore Eli! He is such a sweet little crazy cinnamon roll. Kyrin is everything you'd want in a psycho bloodthirsty, touch her & I'll kill you boyfriend. He & Eli really balance each other out & I love it. Now, Lilith? She's freaking awesome. I love her. She is moody, sarcastic, & IDGAF attitude. I always enjoyed reading her POV. I loved seeing her interactions with the EKCs. Brantley & Nate's commentary on Eli's relationship was hilarious! I really miss my kings & can't wait to read the second generation next year ;) All in all, I was very entertained throughout this book. Be prepared for a whirlwind of emotions & lots of WTF & uhmm seriously???? What the heck were you thinking moments. But like always, I'm down for everything Amo wants to put me through.
