November 2020 Wrap Up 📚🦃😋

Hey Guys! I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving/November. I know some of my readers aren't from the states, so Thanksgiving wasn't really a thing. Anyway, I'm way behind on my goodreads reading challenge this year, so December will be crunch time! I've got my books pre-planned. Fingers crossed I can hit my goal. 😁

tacet a mortuis (Book 3) ⭐
By: Amo Jones
About tacet a mortuis:
Hail to the king, and watch him reign, this game was somewhat fun, until the finale came…

Now we’re here, with carnage and despair, and the only questions left to answer, are the ones that do not appear...

A king loses a war, and a swan sheds her wings, chaos collides with peace, as the crows begin to sing…

Enter if you dare, because I swear the end is near, but nothing is as it seems, and everything is so bare.

So what the hell is going on at Riverside,
I think, I think... everyone is about to die....

Holy shizzz. This book I’m speechless. Amo what the heck. This was dark and twisty and loving all wrapped into 36 chapters?! I was NOT ready for the ending and definitely not ready for that deletes scene. My god...I love MADSHIP. It’s perfect for them because they’re a little bit Mad inside. I’m at a loss for words this book blew my mind and I know I said that before with her previous two books, but they just keep getting better!! Gah, off to book four I go. EKC for life.

Wild Like Us (Book 8)
By: Krista & Becca Ritchie
About Wild Like Us:
One is new to love.
One is bad at love.
One denies love.

Twenty-one-year-old, foul-mouthed Olympian, Sullivan Meadows, just made a huge mistake. She told her bodyguards—her buddies, her pals—they could take her virginity. Words forever engrained in her brain.

And theirs.

Akara Kitsuwon & Banks Moretti are best friends, sworn to protect each other and their client Sullivan. But upon hearing her confession, their reactions aren’t what Sulli expects.

They’re all friends anyway.

Just friends.

Solid, good friends.

Right?

As the three embark on the road to Yellowstone, tension builds and close quarters leave no secrets behind. Feelings for her childhood friendship with Akara—that teasing, flirty leader—grow hotter, but so do her feelings for Banks, the rugged, heart-melting Marine.

While Sulli is out west to free-solo her dad’s old climbing routes, the only true destination the three of them are certain of is Yellowstone.

Love & romance are totally up in the air.

Wild Like Us is an MFM Romance and Book 8 in the Like Us Series.
The Like Us series is a true series, one continuous timeline, that follows a family of wealthy celebrities and the people that protect them.

KITSULLETTI❤️ ITS NOT A LOVE TRIANGLE 👏🏻🤗
Okay, so I had to straight up take a day to process my thoughts on this epic story. First of all, I love Sulli, Banks, & Akara. Seeing inside new characters minds is always a phenomenal first time. I see so much of Raisy in Sulli. It was so heart warming. I loved getting to see Daisy be a mom. Especially considering the way her mother was. Banks is the kindest soul. I did not expect to like him so much but boy was I wrong. I kinda knew I’d like Akara because we got little bits of him in previous books. I know this type of relationship isn’t a cultural norm but I feel like these three were meant to be together. It was a learning experience for everyone involved and it just felt right. I’m blown away by how sweet the twins of romance were with this story and I can’t wait for book #2. The cliff hanger for this one will definitely be worth the wait

Never After (Book 1)
By: Melissa De La Cruz
About Never After:
Real life and fairy tales collide in Never After: The Thirteenth Fairy, book one in the new middle-grade Never After series from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Descendants series, Melissa de la Cruz.

Nothing ever happens in Filomena Jefferson-Cho’s sleepy little suburban town of North Pasadena. The sun shines every day, the grass is always a perfect green, and while her progressive school swears there’s no such thing as bullying, she still feels bummed out. But one day, when Filomena is walking home on her own, something strange happens.

Filomena is being followed by Jack Stalker, one of the heroes in the Thirteenth Fairy, a series of books she loves about a brave girl and her ragtag group of friends who save their world from an evil enchantress. She must be dreaming, or still reading a book. But Jack is insistent—he’s real, the stories are real, and Filomena must come with him at once!

Soon, Filomena is thrust into the world of evil fairies and beautiful princesses, sorcerers and slayers, where an evil queen drives her ruthless armies to destroy what is left of the Fairy tribes. To save herself and the kingdom of Westphalia, Filomena must find the truth behind the fairytales and set the world back to rights before the cycle of sleep and destruction begins once more.

This is a cute story but it’s more of children’s story than an YA/NA book. I didn’t mind reading it especially because it’s to support an author I like...just not my normal preference. Filomena has a wild ride in this book. Fairytales come to real life...if only right?

So, I did my first ever beta reading for two authors. I'm obviously not allowed to really discuss the book yet. When I can, I'll make sure to post about it, but I did read it so it's part of my November Wrap Up. It's a love story (I know shocking). It takes place in Portland & there's a secret billionaire *gasp*.
